Tilt shift

Thursday, January 22nd, 2009

In the summer vacation for about two and a half years ago I took a lot of pictures, as always. When we were back home, I made tilt shifts modifications of some of the pictures. Since then they have been archived on my computer where noone can see them, but here are two of them. We stayed in Chassignelles during the holiday. A small village near Chablis, Champagne valley and Nitry. One of the stages of Tour de France started in Chablis that year before it passed through the small village Nitry. The picture to the left is from Nitry and shows the first cyclists in the leading group. The village in the picture on the right is Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, the village from the movie “Chocolate”.

Metallica artwork

Monday, August 11th, 2008

I broke my foot while running with my dog last monday, so I felt kind of stuck with my guitar in front of television. After a while the sun came through the window and felt nicely on my guitar. I grabbed my camera and shot a few shots. After wards when I was tired of watching television (that took about two hours) I opened the photos and started playing with Photoshop. After a while it got some kind of Metallica look, and I added the logo (Yeah, I know it’s upside down :) ) … one thing took the other and here is the result so far:

Here is another one where I only added the logo. It’s good practice to make close-ups look photo-realistic:

Looks like the guys at the Metallica forum liked it as well. :-)
